I AM MATURE,PATIENT AND CONSISTENT,FIRST AID/CPR,NCI CERTIFIED AND REGISTERED WITH RESPITE SERVICE OF PEEL.MY SERVICE AREA IS MISSISSAUGA,ETOBICOKE,OAKVILLE AND BRAMPTON.(WILLING TO USE MY CAR)
CAN WORK SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS BETWEEN 10AM-6PM.

| For 35 years Distress Centre Peel has been providing emotional support to Peel citizens struggling with distress associated with everyday problems. Often, those who call are experiencing depression, living with mental health issues, dealing with loneliness/isolation, or may be feeling suicidal. Our trained volunteers offer listening, emotional support and referrals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All calls are confidential and free of charge. Last year volunteers responded to over 38, 000 calls.

| Are you experiencing being mistreated? Do you suspect someone you know is being abused?
In November 2007 the Peel Elder Abuse Support Program was launched in partnership by Distress Centre Peel and Family Services of Peel. The goal of the program is to provide supports and services to those older adults in our community who are experiencing abuse. Until this service, there was nothing of the kind available in Peel. The program provides telephone support, referrals and counselling by trained senior volunteers and staff. Our service is free and confidential, available 7days/week from noon-8pm and offers individualized support.
